Ashland Foundation for Children with Disabilities formally known as Buddy's Sensory Exchange.  The one things that we are excited about is the sensory garden to begin construction soon at Ashland Central Park which will be a great addition to our area. So just know that every time you buy not only are you helping Zack get another video game or creepy costume you are helping other children like my Zack. 

 

So let me begin I'm Allison, Brad is my fiance, and Zack is my awesome son and the reason for all of this. Click above on Zackary's name and you can read more about Zack and what started our journey. This section I wanted to create to  give you a look into our lives. I'm a 34 year old mother of three, full time college student, consultant for a work- at- home online company. My oldest son Landon will be 15 in July and gosh thats harder than it looks to say that he's almost 15. They grow up so fast.... Landon is a wonderful and funny young man that loves his video games and shoes lol. Zackary is almost 13 and that kid is so funny without trying. And when he wants something oh such as what he has demanded I make for him out of wood a jester's cane well he will keep on till he get's what he wants. Autism what many people don't get is he's not stupid and you don't have to talk to him like he is because most likely he will ignore you then. He's highly intelligent and retains information like a computer does. I just wish he would want to learn his school work as he does about villians, superheros and mythical creatures. Now if you need any info on The Moth Man or Michael Myers he's the man to talk to! Then I have little Grayci well she's not so little anymore she's 9 going on 19. She's into makeup which I protest against for girls her age and she loves to make Tic Tok videos. She's got the biggest heart she wants to take care of everyone.Even though she's the little sister she mothers Zack and has since she was around 2 or 3. If she got a snack she would say Zack wants one and she always helps him and trys to take care of him which he is not to much into. She goes in his room and touches his things and he doens't like it to well.

 

Now with God willing I will graduate in December with my Associates degree in  Social Work. I've always had a passion for helping others and with a degree in social work I can do that and become a Substance Abuse Counselor. I know that everyone has been affected in some way by addiction. I know that if I can help just one person in my life that will worth all the studying and hard work I've already put in and whats still to come. I know that I really love my woodworking and wish that I had more time to work on pieces but with school and my job I just don't have the time right now.

 

Brad is my wonderful hardworking fiance and co-owner/creator/artist. What is that old saying "Jack of all trades master of none" yep thats my Brad. lol  Brad most of his life installed carpet and other flooring which was a trade his father taught him well. Brad decided to go into the Boilermakers Union which and he is almost finished with the Apprenticeship. Working on the road is kinda hard at times for us especially when I'm not able to visit but we make it. He usually gets his layoff in the summer months which is nice because he can help me work and spend time with all the kids. Brad has 2 absolutely beautiful and smart girls Audrie is almost 18 years old and Ella is almost 13. Audrie has Brads gift of being an artist. They both can draw beautifully. Ella is always trying to buy things for others saving up her money to buy gifts. She's so caring and her love of all creatures is big she would have a zoo if she was allowed to. I couldn't have asked for better future stepdaughters. Me and Brad have been together almost 3 years and hope to get married soon. It's funny now we fight over tools cause I don't want anyone touching mine and I have taken claims on his. lol  He likes the fact he can buy tools he wants for my birthdays and Chrismas now. We have really enjoy this new adventure in woodworking that we began. Seeing people smile and meeting some great people on the way.
